This Privacy Policy describes how Radical Philanthropies ("UkraineNow," "we", “us” or "our") processes personal information that we obtain or generate through our digital properties that link to this Privacy Policy, including our website [and mobile application], as well as through the provision of our services, social media, our marketing activities and other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”). UkraineNow may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies to individuals for specific services that we offer at the time we collect personal information.
Radical Philanthropies is a non-profit organization that operates UkraineNow. The Service includes a platform operated by UkraineNow at https://www.ukrainenow.org/ (our “Website”). The Service was created to organize a global decentralized effort to help Ukrainians and other nations and individuals deal with the humanitarian crisis and consequences arising from the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine. The Service connects various Ukrainian refugees with people seeking to help them during this crisis. This Privacy Policy describes how we process the personal information of refugees (women, children and others who have left or are seeking to leave Ukraine), transporters (people working to transport refugees out of Ukraine, such as drivers), volunteers (individuals helping to develop and implement the Service), hosts (people willing to provide housing or shelter to Ukrainian refugees) and others whose personal information we may process.

The Service is intended to help all individuals who are directly affected by, or seeking help because of the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine, including children of any age. We will try to seek consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian where possible, however where not possible to obtain such consent we will process personal information of that child in the context of preventive or counselling services offered directly to that child in line with recital 38 of the GDPR.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on our Website or other appropriate means. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the modified version (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting).
